Smooth_Sleever229 20 Posted October 18, 2012 Hi, I'm 3 months out and I stir-fry quite a bit. I'm freaking out over my slight use of corn starch, because I follow a low carb diet. I use about a teaspoon in Water to thick sauces. I just want to know if this is detrimental to my weight loss and if anyone else uses it.
mdefabio 73 Posted October 18, 2012 I really don't think that a teaspoon of cornstarch will be detrimental to your weight loss. 2 samsmom and Syrus reacted to this
BKMama 179 Posted October 18, 2012 You're fine! That little bit isn't going to set you back. Do you use my fitness pal to help you track your intake? It has really helped me to tweak recipes to bring down the crabs count per serving. :-) 1 samsmom reacted to this

BKMama 179 Posted October 18, 2012 LOL damn Autocorrect. CARB count, not crabs. I just looked at my box of cornstarch and it's 7 grams of carbs per tablespoon. So if you're adding a teaspoon it's low. What's your program's carb guideline? (i know some say no carbs where others say up to 50 grams a day is fine) Anyway, I'm rambling... :-)
Smooth_Sleever229 20 Posted October 18, 2012 Your research and rambling is greatly appreciated. I keep myself on no carbs but lately I fell in love with stir-fry and started using it in sauces. Thanks now I won't freak out to much
