Socketpinch 15 Posted October 17, 2012 Our office went out to eat at lunch. I'm 4 weeks out and I had a cup of gumbo without the rice. Was that too much? I'm full!
Socketpinch 15 Posted October 17, 2012 Now I know it was too much. I'm burping it up. I have to learn what I can and can't eat and how much.
FishingNurse 1,211 Posted October 17, 2012 at 4 weeks out you will most likely have swelling still. It was actually not a horrible choice... don't get too discouraged, you will get to know your sleeve better and keep healing. 1 7carol3 reacted to this

delta_girl 931 Posted October 17, 2012 A whole cup sounds like a lot! I haven't figured out yet when I'm full either.
mickmick 5 Posted October 17, 2012 I am 3.5 out and my eyes are STILL bigger than my stomach. I try to stop often and check myself. Burping def will let you know!
Socketpinch 15 Posted October 17, 2012 Won't do that again. Drinking a Protein Shake for dinner!
Socketpinch 15 Posted October 17, 2012 A whole cup sounds like a lot! I haven't figured out yet when I'm full either. It's mostly liquid with veggies and little shrimp.
doxieville 799 Posted October 17, 2012 At 8 weeks out, i still have problems digesting shrimp. Not sure why? And last night I was eating what I THOUGHT was the right amount of tuna, i got lazy & didn't weight it. It had to be more. I felt so full! In the past I've always burped and know that's it, i'm done. I didn't last nite. And I must have hiccuped for over an hour. So.....even at 8 weeks out, it's still a puzzle at times. :-)
