doxieville 799 Posted October 16, 2012 I've had both. My sleeve was done 8/21 with staples, which were taken out the next day. They look beautiful. My gallbladder incisions were sealed with glue. Done 7 weeks after the sleeve. Same surgeon. They look horrible! All crusty and bumpy. Give me staples any day!
kimmy*custis 276 Posted October 16, 2012 I agree, they seem to heal so much nicer!

fattymcfatterson 107 Posted October 16, 2012 So the staples didn't hurt? I had glue/steri strips but I have not felt a TWINGE of pain. SO GRATEFUL for no pain!!!
ashleyxx 277 Posted October 16, 2012 I didn't have staples, I just the glue and mine healed very nicely. This is how they looked 4-5 days after surgery.
doxieville 799 Posted October 16, 2012 So the staples didn't hurt? I had glue/steri strips but I have not felt a TWINGE of pain. SO GRATEFUL for no pain!!! Not a bit. But....i've had two knee replacements with 20 plus staples on each knee, so maybe I'm prejudiced. The glue is making my skin so itchy!

ashleyxx 277 Posted October 16, 2012 Very nice! Are they vertical? Most are the other way, aren't they? Hopefully you are not allergic to the glue, I have heard of some people having a allergic reaction. Lol I never noticed before that most have horizontal incisions!
