Ready4success 380 Posted October 16, 2012 My labs are back. No more diabetes and my cholesterol is now normal! I'm still taking b/p meds, but my doctor thinks I'll be off of those in a few months too! No more finger sticks and being terrified of going to the doctor! Today is a good day, y'all! 6 xmasbpig, happilysleeved, sleevendown and 3 others reacted to this

Ready4success 380 Posted October 16, 2012 Thanks everybody! I feel really good, and even though my abs are sore from crunches last night, I'm excited about getting to the gym, so I can work on getting off of the b/p meds too.
Getting There 198 Posted October 16, 2012 Be careful with doing crunches! There are some exercises that those us of who have had WLS shouldn't do and I think crunches are one of them. You might check with your surgeon's office.
