How Much Are You Eating!?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I got sleeved on September 7, 2012 and at first I wasn't able to eat anything, the first 4 days I was sipping fluids down, but now I'm nearly 6 weeks out and I'm able to eat aroun 4-6 ounces! I'm not sure if that's a good thing considering that I was so "used" to eating only about 2 ounces. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or your situation around your portion meal?

Thankyou!!

they say by 6 months you should be able to eat a cup of food. I can eat 4 oz of cottage cheese but only 2oz of chicken. I am out 35 days.

@Ms Skinniness yes, I've been eating like turkey ground meat, soft shrimp, grilled or steamed veggies... last night my parent made shrimp cocktail and my mom served me about a little over a full cup and I was able to eat with rather quickly and effortlessly without hurting my tummy or having a sensation of feeling full. But I was surprised and was think, "damn, did I stretch out my sleeve" hahaha I hope not, but iguess we all think that at one point.

I'm 6 weeks out and I can't eat pastas or breads or anytime of heavy chunky meat, I guess its good, but I can have 4oz. tiny ground beef meatballs. and a full cup serving of veggies.
