jennt4 1 Posted October 15, 2012 I have to be honest, I haven't been told to go on my soft diet and I began to eat saltine crackers. I have lost32 pounds already and have been walking. When would I be able to exercise?

peanutbutter 4 Posted October 17, 2012 I have been walking 2 miles a day on the treadmill, eating 3 meals and 2 Snacks ( usually a Protein bar) I drink lots of crystal light all day. I'm going to start back to Zumba next week. I travel a lot for work, so food can be a challenge. I make all my food with me for the week. I've been making all recipes in muffin tins for Portion Control.< /p>

gabby899 37 Posted October 17, 2012 Thank you I'm trying! I haven't exercised yet and i know i need to! I should be at least walking! I have trouble with fluids as well
peanutbutter 4 Posted October 17, 2012 I know the lack of exercise is what made me "fluffy" to begin with. As much as I loathe to exercise , I have to admit it has made a huge difference. Plus I feel great after I do it. Once you get into a routine you will get into it!
urboyp 85 Posted October 17, 2012 Hey all. I too had my surgery on 10/1. I'm down 35 lbs total from the beginning of my 2 week pre op diet till today. 18 lbs from day of surgery. I began walking 8 hrs after surgery and I try to walk everyday. I was cleared at my one week post op for salsa dancing and I now dance twice a week. Looking forward to getting cleared for lifting weights in another 3.5 weeks.
