Twyla 10 Posted October 14, 2012 I know, right?! I had my surgery on the 9th and I'm struggling with trying to eat any kind of Liquid Protein. I just don't want anything but ice chips or hot tea. The pain is a little better but my left side and ribs are pretty sore. I had a lapband before and this was where my port was, and also where my tummy is, so I'm sure that's why mine really hurts me. I have an ice pack on it constantly. I also have problems taking my meds... haven't even begun to think about the Vitamins yet. HOw are you doing with the rest of it? Neta912 14 Posted October 14, 2012 I was sleeved on the 11th too! I have kept an ice pack on my right side off and on since I was in the recovery room. It has really helped. I have been trying to get in as much liquid as possible. I don't want to end up dehydrated and back in be hospital.
