drexelgirl 45 Posted October 14, 2012 My surgery is Monday and it has been a tough 2 weeks. I followed my diet for the exception of small cheddar biscuit, a tablespoon of marinara and a little butter on Fridays lunch. Wednesday I ate a bag of Gummy bears. How bad is this? I am 246 5 8 and lost 20 lbs since my consult.
It's all new 453 Posted October 14, 2012 In the grand scheme of things I would guess the diet still accomplished what the doc was hoping for. Just stay on track and be happy with your loss. Congrats on your upcoming surgery! 1 drexelgirl reacted to this
MiniMo 41 Posted October 14, 2012 I wanted to cheat so much on my pre op diet (i did have a smoothie from jamba juice). What scared me the most, was in my pre op meeting, the dietician said that if i strayed from my diet, there would be a chance of not having the surgery. If the surgeon went in and things did not look right, he would sew me back up and not complete my sleeve. After all of the hoops i had to jump through, appointments, and diets for six months, I was not gonna let myself ruin my chances. Its an internal fight we all have to face. 1 SensationallySassyT reacted to this
