It really depends on what your surgeon requires.

I see people on here who only had to do 2 days of liquids prior to surgery.

What I know about the liver' date=' is this, absolutely NO sugar or carbs at all. My doctor said to do the liquid but if I was hungry to eat meat, eggs or cheese. This will still shrink the liver Pre-surgery.

If you have to cheat, eat meat. Lol.
