butta1074 68 Posted November 16, 2012 Thanks Taty, my neck hurts tho. They said I probrobly was in a bad position during recovery. It's really sore, like I sprained it. That's really my only complaint. Yes it hurts a little when I cough but that's tolerable. My food is going down fine, my chest gets a little tight but that's because if the stitches inside from the hernia. My strips came off in the shower today and I have 4 very small incision that were glued closed. Once they completely heal you won't even be able to notice. carrie1976 4 Posted December 14, 2012 Hi Nikki I had my surgery on 11/27. I'm in Ca. And my insurance covered the entire surgery. Did it cover yours?? How are you doing now that you had the surgery?

My Sleeved Tummy 56 Posted December 23, 2012 Awesome carol! I was sleeved nov 6 (almost 7 wjs post op), and im doing well. I, too, have troubles with some foods. Beef really bothers me. Im on soft foods, and im enjoying that for now. I havent weighed since 5 wks out, and at that point I was 32 lbs down. Congrats on your successes! 1 carstanger reacted to this

humnopnop 8 Posted January 9, 2013 I was sleeved on the 5th but today was the first time I had "issues" with my stomach feeling queasy... I ate the normal stuff that I had been Greek yogurt, string cheese, oatmeal, chicken Soup. Not sure what's happening, I'll try again tomorrow. I need to get with aNUT. Havent had the opportunity to work with one. I sttended 1 meeting a week before my surgery and I was given some papers to follow and I followed them to a T but not quite sure what to expect or do from here on out. My nut wasn't very approachable, so I was put off and did all my research on line and thru this site. I think I need to buck up and try to reapproach her. But I am down 40'lbs as of today. Not quite sure if this is the norm, but I am happy with it! It's been years since I was below 400. Day of surgery I weighed 421.9 and today 378.

I feel queasy all the time for the last week and a half! It's terrible. Just the thought of food makes me vomit. Everything was going great until last week. I was sleeved on the 6th of nov. and have lost 43 lbs. what is happening? I told my NUT and she was unconcerned. I feel weak and terrible cause I'm not getting Protein in.
