mufasas-mom 170 Posted October 12, 2012 I'm 5 weeks out - but was awoken early this am by barking dogs....and couldn't fall back asleep. Have a slight headache - I'm drinking my fluids fine, but wondered if I can take a tylenol later if it still persists?
ladyscorpion 7 Posted October 12, 2012 Yes, my doc recommended Tynelol and I actually got some after surgery in case I needed it
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted October 12, 2012 I'm not a doctor, but my surgeon's told us we can take tylenol. Hope your HA goes away....
JerseyGirl68 1,172 Posted October 12, 2012 My surgeon also said Tylenol was ok. If you're concerned about taking pills, get the children's liquid tylenol. Adult dosage is on the bottle. Or regular Tylenol liquid if you can find it. (I couldn't ) Feel better.
Pookeyism 1,143 Posted October 12, 2012 I still take liquid tylenol, it seems to help faster.
Mr_Worm 129 Posted October 12, 2012 Yup to Tylenol no to Advil. I was on a liquid tylenol drip in recovery just after surgery as well
ann48 18 Posted October 12, 2012 Tylenol Liquid - Adult Strength has be re-packaged uder the name Tylenol Cold Sore Throat (liquid) . If you read the ingredients it only contains Acetaminophen (500 mgs). Same stuff, just different packaging and I found it in the "Cough and Cold" section at my local supermarket. Hope this helps. 1 Pookeyism reacted to this
