ladypmendoza 19 Posted November 29, 2013 Hi Ladypmendoza- was your surgery on the 25th? Yes it was. I came home yesterday. In some pain and discomfort because of the gas. But I have been progressing so I'm sure I will be back to "normal" very soon!

SandeeD 363 Posted November 29, 2013 Ladymendoza, I've been reading that a lot of people had to pay they're deductible and other fees upfront before their surgery, was that the case for you at Virtua and with your doctor? I'm getting nervous because I have insurance, don't have a load of cash.

mrsrny3 10 Posted November 29, 2013 Hi Sanddee -If your dr is participating in your network meaning he has a contract with yiur insurance carrier then they should not be looking for payment at this point-also if you do have a deductible that you have to meet that would be determined after they bill your insurance.. ladypmendoza 19 Posted November 29, 2013 Ladymendoza, I've been reading that a lot of people had to pay they're deductible and other fees upfront before their surgery, was that the case for you at Virtua and with your doctor? I'm getting nervous because I have insurance, don't have a load of cash. I had to pay my co pay every time I went to the doctors which was $10 each visit and I also had a one time program fee of $250 which paid for all my shakes and any and all meetings, additional nut visit, etc. I haven't had to pay any additional fees.
