Amanda' date=' how did you go about borrowing from yiur 401k and what was the penalty?[/quote']

With my company it is a loan of my 401k. I determine how much based on the amount is available. I pay it back from my paycheck up to 60 months at a 3.25% interest. That way there is no penalty. It is different from a withdrawal

I'm going to start walking off the pounds now. Then kick it up a notch as I lose. Do it smart.

He's on the same team as Dr. Garcia :) so you're in good hands. I've heard really good things about Dr. Garcia as well.

Yes I decided not to go to the doctor because my sister and I are going together and she has a lot of health issues and I am doing all the research for her and I could not live with myself if something was to happen to her we are going 2/2013

I made my deposit last week on both my husband's and my surgery thru alighterme and we did not get a confirmation. Did you all get a confirmation?

I haven't officially paid my deposit yet. I have to wait until I get paid on the 25th, but if I wire it into their account I will just use the paperwork from my bank as a confirmation. Contact your coordinator and get them to send you one.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
