SoonToBeThinKAT 67 Posted October 11, 2012 How long before you guys were able to eat fruit like apples, oranges, and melon? I have ALWAYS loved fruit and I can't not wait until I can have my favorite honeycrisp apples!
CaliKat 153 Posted October 11, 2012 This is my one short term "bummer" issue with this sleeve- fruit. Dr/NUT says no fruit till I'm done loosing. I have 10 varieties of fruit trees in my yard and it was KIlLLING me to not eat off them! When I did cheat and eat fruit (even moderate amounts) I stalled like a car out of gas..... Not worth it. I figure next year after goall is hit I can go back to that old "apple a day" habit! Save it for now and enjoy the "fruits of your labor" while the loss is rapid! SoonToBeThinKAT 67 Posted October 11, 2012 That's what I'm afraid of:(. I really enjoy fruits and its really the only thing I really craving. I got sleeved on 9/19 and my taste buds have changed so much to the point I hate a lot of stuff I used to like except fruit. I'm still craving it:(
chubbymom 10 Posted October 11, 2012 I was told watermelon is ok as long as I can tolerate it and because it has so much Water in it, it can help with keeping hydrated. And fruit that comes in those little dishes (water or sugar free)
