Old Trainer/new Trainer

Recommended Posts

the other day i met with trainer i had years ago. she said i looked great etc. etc. - can't hear that enough. but, turns out she is quitting, and i was her last client - go out with the best, right???

yesterday met w/new trainer/ a guy. he was amazing - all trainers teach differently, he was much stricter/kept me busy, "break" between exercises weights we walked the track - it was great, heart kept beating away. very excited to continue - next class on saturday.

its been a long time since i did the eliptical, used to do it for 45 minutes. did 5 minutes yesterday!!! OMG i have to get back on that horse, slowly

should have done this months ago, never too late - this is the beginning of a journey with exercise, something i knew i should have done long time ago. not gonna beat myself over the head, past is past.

NEWBIES - start exercising as soon as you are allowed - walking is always good at the beginning

if you've been sleeved for a while, its never too late too start exercising

I am so proud of you! Yep, your exercising that sexy body of yours! Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!

I need to stop thinking about it and just do it. Today was going to go walking but it's raining and I have a client at noon today. What a beautiful excuse not to exercise. Right? Anyways, I'm going to the mall to walk. Yep.

You are a inspiration to me, I envy all the people that exercise on a daily basis, I needs to be me. :)

I say start exercising before you are sleeved! Even though I was heavy I always worked out and I believe this is why I had such an easy recovery. Plus, I had a lot of muscle already built up under all the fat!:)

I also agree with you that working out at any time is a plus. Have fun with your new trainer!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
