Starvation Mode?

Before surgery, I know that your body goes into starvation mode 3-4 hours after not eating anything...does our body still do this even after the surgery?

I believe so, but do not know for certain. I eat something small every 3 hours. Typically i will eat 2-3 oz of some Protein.< /p>
