lovex5 25 Posted October 10, 2012 I am so tired of being tired all the time. I am fairly sure it's due to my weight and it just stinks. Looking forward to not being a big slug that wants to sleep all day long. I hear a lot of post ops raving about the energy they have and am curious when that happens for most. Is it just when you hit a certain weight? It would be nice to have that in mind to keep chugging along!
hawkihoops 20 Posted October 10, 2012 I had energy about 4 days out but I swear it had something to do with my blood transfusion. I am two weeks out and have more energy than I did before surgery for sure. I am sleeping better already and have to stop myself from doing stuff so I don't hurt myself. I keep forgetting about my weight lifting limit. My post op diet is more liberal than some I have seen. I think it has a lot to do with the nutrition you are able to get in and taking your Vitamins. IsB 209 Posted October 10, 2012 Regular exercise and getting enough sleep at night is the key to energy. That's true no matter how heavy you are. Get your heat rate up for a half hour every morning and you will be wide awake all day long.
