bbkipps99 48 Posted October 9, 2012 Ok so i havent had the sleeve done yet. I know i wont be able to drink as much or at all for awhile which is fine lol. I dont drink much now but i could drink with the best of them lol So my question is how much can u tolerate after and im not talking about an all night alchol fest. Like maybe getting a few drinks for a bday or somethin. Just curious.
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted October 9, 2012 Gosh, I would just take one day at a time and go from there! Some people can have a drink 3 months out and some don't. Good luck on your journey! Are you going for the sleeve?

iggychic 1,405 Posted October 9, 2012 I sat next to dinner with a gal who owns a large winery who drank along with us all night just fine. She's two years out I believe but wine is their business so I think she gets lots of practice I'd guess she had four generous glasses of wine that night at least. craigieboy 0 Posted December 10, 2012 Had my sleeve done 13 months ago. Quit drinking for 4 months then slowly back to it. Procedure was great having lost 120 pounds to date. Drinking more of a challenge. Desire to drink daily seems enhanced and with reduced stomach and weight you can not drink quantities that you used to prior or you will get snookered real easy. My New Years resolution will be to try and quit permanently. Loosing out on to much in life with alcohol dependence.
