Pinky Green 260 Posted October 9, 2012 I understand that we need Vitamins because we might not get all the vitamins we need from what we eat after surgery, but since we don't have malabsorption why do we need super extra bariatric vitamins? Why not just regular liquid or chewable vitamins?
Beebaby813 24 Posted October 9, 2012 I was told my nut that all I needed was a normal chewable vit with minerals, calcium chews and b-12 and that was it. So, not sure what they are telling you! I'd be interested to hear what others are being told though!
Frza 194 Posted October 9, 2012 I take a Centrum chewable, a Calcium wafer, B12 sublingual, Biotin & CoQ 10 (for hair). Oh, and a pro biotic for regularity.

Tenshi 34 Posted October 9, 2012 I take two Flintstones chewables with Iron daily (what my program recommends!). In addition to which I take Vitamin E and milk thistle (for liver function, at the recommendation of my liver doctor.... darn fatty liver!); fish oil; and Citracal Petites. I also have sublingual B12 for when I'm running low between my shots. Everyone's program is SO different. I wonder if there will ever be a standard for sleevers... amykins 202 Posted October 9, 2012 I take flintstones chewables, sublingual b-complex. I'm still looking for a calcium citrate pill that's not the size of a horse pill so I haven't taken Calcium yet.
