I'm only a month out but I wanted to know how long after surgery did you start putting cocoa butter or mederma on your scars to fade the discoloration?

I started at 6 weeks when my dr gave me tho ok to take baths and get in the pool. I use the Mederma scar cream. I am almost 4 months out and only the biggest scar (2cm) is still a little visible.

My dr said at least4 weeks OR when all incisions are healed.
