mirav79 13 Posted October 9, 2012 I'm in the hospital bed' date=' i have two i.v.'s and I'm ready....talk too you soon..[/quote'] Wish you all the best! Just had my done last week and I feel great - as if nothing happened. Just be prepared for a little pain when you wake up from the anesthesia - or hopefully you won't go through that. Take care ???? tqmeri30 17 Posted October 9, 2012 I'm in the hospital bed' date=' i have two i.v.'s and I'm ready....talk too you soon..[/quote'] When u read this is hope everything went well. Your first days might not be what u expected. Some do very well and have not much pain. Others have a rough couple of days. At first i felt great when i was at the clinic but as soon as i got home i felt nauseas. I kept telling myself i hate this, but now 7 days post op i feel great. No nausea or pain. Best thing i ever did. I even feel embarrased for being such baby but then again its ok. We are aloud to act like that after surgery. Reading this forum on other peoples experiences really help. Good luck

052407 16 Posted October 10, 2012 Well a little ober 24 hours and i feel a lot better than what i did yesterday. I didn't feel like talking or texting anyone, i had my mom and a friend come by and i was so drained and in pain that talking made me hurt. I also had a hernia where my esophagus and stomach met so my doctor noticed that during surgery and stitched it up, that also added a lot to my pain. Today I'm doing much better, I'm walking, talking and also just had my lunch..cherry sugar free Jello and chicken broth..yummy. thanks everyone for the well wishes i really appreciate it!! Oh one more thing when i first arrived yesterday i weighed 248 today i weighed 257.. one week ago before i started my preop diet i weighed 259...
Katnroyal 225 Posted October 10, 2012 The extra weight is all the fluids they pumped into you... that weight will fall off in no time. 1 greenfamily004 reacted to this
