steelergirl 135 Posted October 9, 2012 One month away from surgery and am looking for things I should be doing now to prepare..I started the shakes twice a day and then started over eating because I knew the day was coming that I was going to start the two week diet..I wanted to start dieting a month before ..and will be starting tommorow ..my surgeon only required two weeks of the pre diet..but I wanted to start now..I don't drink Water and have staarted drinking a lot of water so I don't go into it dehydrated..any other tips ..I can do now so I am ready..?..I didn't have to do a 6month diet or loose any weight first..it only took me 2 months with my insurance so I'm just wondering..thanks for any tips or advice Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
mjrevel 101 Posted October 9, 2012 I know your ready to get started! I was also. My advice would be start eating high Protein low carb but don't burn yourself out on liquids to soon. jillb 45 Posted October 10, 2012 Hi Aliasmith... I can relate. It took my insurance 3 months but Dr only has me on a 1 week liquid diet. I started today as my sleeve is next Wed.
