Yea, I know. I'm really excited. =) I wasn't doubting the company, I was just looking for anyone else who may have used them to get their insight on how they are.

I'm going to Tijuana for 6 days, 5 nights, 1 night pre op hotel, 2 night hospital, n 2 night post op hotel.

I might be able to go the same time you do! That's around the time I'm gonna go but it all depends on when I get my income tax check in lol

Well if u choose to go with Dr. Lopez in Tijuana around my time then maybe we can meet there n stick together so we have company. :)

I'm nervous and super excited at the same time! I'm actual eating a Baby Ruth as I'm writing this, but thinking that it won't be long until I'm not gonna have stuff like this anymore... I think it's actually making me gain weight right now lol

U r too funny!! But I know how u feel. I can't seem to stay off the app n searching up before n after pics. Lol. It just keeps exciting me more n more. Everytime I eat something as well I think to myself, pretty soon I won't be able to eat any of this. Lol. I'm even trying to find ways to borrow the money so I can go sooner!!! Lol. No luck there just yet. Lol

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
