sramos89 260 Posted October 7, 2012 Last night at dinner I think I ate too fast or too much and at almost 3 weeks I threw up for the first time. Actually just a couple really hard dry heaves, sweating and had to lay down for a while. Maybe dumping? anyway, today my stomach just hasn't felt the same. I just liquids to let it rest but my stomach left achey and maybe like I had a little more gas/ nausea. Can throwing up or dry heaving cause damage at this point? Thanks! Banned member 320 Posted October 7, 2012 More than likely you are fine. I puked the day of surgery and the day after about 10+ different times. It was horrible and I was worried about ripping the staple line but thankfully I'm fine. Just learn from your mistake and take it slower next time 1 CoolBreeze reacted to this
VSGJean 68 Posted October 11, 2012 I think I throw up almost everyday. I'm having a hard time relearning how to eat. Probably eating too much. I'm not worried about injuring my stomach.
vonego82 36 Posted October 11, 2012 it happens to all of us!! you'll be just fine. Just eat tiny little bites, act as if you are a baby and you must chew your food 20x's. I'm also having trouble learning how to re-eat! hahah, its a beautiful challenge tho, I'm down 28 pounds my first month!
