Fiddleman 4,376 Posted October 6, 2012 Thanks to ButterTheBean, OTR and others, I am finally starting 2 new exercise plans today. 1 c25k 2. New rules to lifting Wish me luck! It is my first step into a structured program for reaching goal. I already eat clean and drink my fluids, so just need to add this to take one more step towards a healthy way of living. I can't wait until being able to run a 5 k and eventually, a marathon. 1 CoolBreeze reacted to this
O.T.R. sleever 3,386 Posted October 6, 2012 Sounds great. I don't do the luck thing. I think you make your own luck. You are going to do great!!
CoolBreeze 154 Posted October 7, 2012 What are the "new rules to lifting"? I'm doing the About.com 3 weeks to a 30-minute running... I'm going at the pace I can, (which I know it'll be more than 3 weeks for me) and it's a walk/jog/run (not in that order all the time). But it's fun. You can do it. [/quote'] New rules of lifting is a book about weight lifting. It has a very specific workout program....very detailed and good for novice weight lifters. There is also The New Rules Of Lifting For Women. My wife has that one and loves it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to start weightlifting but is not sure what to do. 1 carbgrl reacted to this
