dlinnh 44 Posted October 6, 2012 I haven't been sleeved yet (11/12 is my date). so are you saying that you wish someone brought in gas x strips? Does the hospital not want to give you any? After today, it will probably start to get better each and every day. I'll send good wishes your way! Just think, the worst is over and it can only get better from here! alsublett 29 Posted October 6, 2012 Move as much as you can... there is really not much else I can suggest... I know it is a pain - just focus on the positives you will be losing weight for the first time in a long time... this is going to change every aspect of your life... you will feel better about yourself and in general, overall... life will be easier in so many ways I am 8 weeks out and do not remember ever feeling as good as I do right this minute... I am jogging in my first ever 5K on October 27... YOU CAN DO THIS I know you are weak and in pain, but get up and move... hang your legs over the side of the bed and kick them... wave your arms... walk laps around the room... move move move... keep your eyes focused on the goal of living and feeling better, and get up!!!
