Having a hard time getting enough Protein down but my doctor says its ok while I'm on phase 2 (full liquid/purée) any suggestions on how to gain some energy for work? Livinglifeout 217 Posted October 6, 2012 I feel for you, it was hard going back to work. Make sure your getting your Vitamins in (B12 and iron) help. I would come home exhausted for the first two weeks back, but it does get easier. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

caldrich001 11 Posted October 6, 2012 Make sure you get as much Protein and Water as you can. My first week back was hard. I kept getting drowsy mid-afternoon. The everyday naps while I was off were hard to give up. Make sure you get a good nights sleep too. Also, my dr said it was ok to increase the B-12 to help increase energy. Jenny881 5 Posted October 6, 2012 I'm 2 1/2 weeks out n I just went back to work last night. I work in the ER. Haven't been taking Vitamins. Just took one B12 yesterday and my multi Vitamin is chewable n gross! I take it about once every other day. I know I need to do better but I feel like a little kid when I taste it. Ewwww.
