N/A 96 Posted October 4, 2012 Just returned from my appt. My shoulders feel lighter emotionally - my doctor came in the room and said I look great, and then while looking at my chart, said "Wow, you're doing great! Jesus!" LOL! That made me feel so much better. My beginning weight was 239. DOS weight was 224. I'm now 208. He said incisions are good - no infection due to my keeping them clean, and that I could go to the gym in four weeks, slowly then build up. He said that will really help later on. Asked if I felt the restriction and if I was swallowing food down. I've been walking and taking the Vitamins. Tiredness is normal. He said eventually hunger and taste of food would return later. Said ketosis is normal. He wants another 30 lbs dropped in three months. I guess that covers it all. So now in the daily focus of Protein and fluids and health, I've got to learn a different head game, called impatience. I have so many goals ahead, but part of it does involve the weight loss yet to be visible. Slow and steady wins the race. 2 meremb and xavtay2 reacted to this
