mztialady 38 Posted October 3, 2012 I am an official sleever. I spent 48 hours in the hospital. My incisions don't bother me at all. It is the gas and the air from drinking that is killing me. No regrets so far. 5 Susan 2.0, ArtSong, ladiJ and 2 others reacted to this

Nacol 76 Posted October 4, 2012 Congrats! The hospital had me up and walking every 2 hours to help w gas...when I went home, there was an expectation of continuing the "walking". 12 days later, I can finally sleep through the night w no gas pain.

Hollyrock100 2 Posted October 5, 2012 Congraulations! I am a patient of Dr. Schuster and am pre-op. I'm just checking to see how others are doing after their surgery. I'm glad to hear you are doing well. Sorry to hear about the gas. Maybe it's the air that they inflate your abdomen with when they do the surgery. It's like a balloon, that why it takes so long for it to be expelled. Some people get gas pains in their shoulders. Good Luck and please keep us up to date with your transformation.
