beachgirl 2 Posted September 30, 2006 I had mine done In Monterrey Mexico so there was none other than just taking my blood min.'s before sugery. In the states I've heard they have to have EKG., Chest X-ray, Stress Test, endoscopy, Physc evaluations, supervised dieting, bloodwork, there's more but I can't remember right now, but that's a pretty good start. libra 13 Posted September 30, 2006 It depends on your surgeon and whatever health issues you may or may not have. I have no health issues and I had a venous doppler scan for blot clots in my legs, and EKG and a Chest X-ray. I also had to have blood work done. But that's it. It really wasn't bad. Elisabethsew 50 Posted September 30, 2006 Preadmission testing at the hospital was blood work and a chat with the anesthesiologist. Prior to the preadmission testing I had pulmonary function tests and a chest x-ray with the pulmonologist and an EKG and stress test and thyroid function tests with the cardiologist. I also had a meeting with the psychologist and one with the nutritionist.
