Who Designed The Rides At Six Flags

Recommended Posts

So, we went to Six Flags today. What I want to know is what model did they use to design the seating on some of the rides? I mean, really, on an airline seat I fit ok and just barely need an extender, but I was almost twelve inches shy of clicking the seat belt on El Torro. Rolling Thunder is over 30 years old, so I can excuse that, sort of. The rest of the coasters I didn't even bother.

I know I am big, but I have no problems in Disney or Sea World. It just seems that Six Flags is way out of proportion.

Oh, and to the guy who made the lap bar go down the extra two clicks on the Dark Knight- thanks ever so much. My right kidney always wanted to get up close and personal with my left one, not to mention my liver and spleen.

This was the worst fat person day I ever had in my life, and I will probably have physical bruises to go along with the emotional ones.

I have been reading along on this site for a few days... afraid to post i guess.. .UNTIL i saw your post about the rides. That is on my bucketlist also.. i want so much to be able to fit into the rides again. I still have nightmares about the last time i tried to squeez into the batman ride and had to get off of it while everyone watched.. it was horrid!

I've still managed to ride on MOST rides, but I there are a few at Islands of Adventure @ Universal Studios in Orlando that I couldn't even come close to fitting in. It's so frustrating! I love coasters.

I've noticed that those are the two smallest rides there.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
