MDM0927 29 Posted September 30, 2012 I've seen a few people that they had their surgery in MX and weren't sure what to eat or how much Protein they needed. I had my surgery through Kaiser and was given a website to get all the food, Vitamin and shopping lists. I thought it might help someone if I posted the site. kp.org/misg and click on bariatric surgery 5 Strangefruit, AngelEyesInNJ, AngelBaby and 2 others reacted to this
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted October 1, 2012 Thanks it is very basic, I had my surgery in Mexico and received tons of info. It is also missing the pureed stage this helps to ease us back into foods in general. 1 senickisncis reacted to this
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted October 1, 2012 I checked this link out and it took me to a membership page. Maybe someone that's not a member of Kaiser can't view it??? 1 senickisncis reacted to this

You don't have to be a member, just make sure you put the /misg after the kp.org 1 senickisncis reacted to this

I got a post op diet from my doctor but I felt like it was really lacking so I've been using what other people's doctors have recommended and taking it slow. Kmasden 14 Posted November 4, 2012 This is nice, i've been so confused food wise, as i'm about 2 1/2 weeks out and according to my nutritionist, on the thicker liquid stage. Driving me nuts reading about people that are getting to have tuna and things...now i see why. I want to be conservative, but it helps me to know that people are eating more than thick liquids earlier and not being harmed. Yay. 1 senickisncis reacted to this
