lowe1961 45 Posted September 30, 2012 I had some blood work done and it seems that I have a fatty liver. I was thinking about juiceing. Does anyone do this now that they have had there surgery. I have a hard time getting in vegtables now. I thought if i could drink them it would help my liver.

fattymcfatterson 107 Posted September 30, 2012 I am sitting here just home from the hospital. I asked my surgeon about juicing and he said it was absolutely fine. I have some pear juice popscicles in the freezer waiting for me. I will definetely begin juicing soon.
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted September 30, 2012 I would like to start juicing too as it will be a good way to get in our veggies. Be careful of fruit juices though as they are very high in sugar. You have reminded me I need to get out my juicer!!
Butterthebean 8,146 Posted September 30, 2012 I think juicing is great especially if you are having trouble getting in calories. But once your capacity to eat starts coming back a few months out you might be better off eating them, they are very filling. 1 samsmom reacted to this
