cherrybombknits 184 Posted September 29, 2012 What are you working on now? Whether you're combating the pre-op jitters, trying to stop other addictive behaviors, or keeping your hands busy, share your projects here. Right now I'm dyeing a TON of yarn for a Kickstarter campaign I started last year. I'm trying to get it all done before my surgery next week, but I don't think I'm going to make it... kmwheel 127 Posted November 4, 2012 I haven't done anything post-surgery. It takes me so long to get all of my Protein in, etc. But...I have to start something soon. I have a giant pile of yarn glaring at me. I finished and blocked a pretty shawl out of sock yarn right before surgery.
kmwheel 127 Posted November 19, 2012 Started my first project post-op. It's just a little scarf with some Paton's sequin lace for my mom's friend. It's a crochet stitch called angel stitch, and it's pretty fun so far. I'm glad to be back doing something with my hands.
MrsGina 101 Posted November 22, 2012 Glad to see this group, I knit, crochet, quilt, cross stitch, stamp. You name it I do it. I'm working on hats and scarfs for the local boys home, I just finished a prayer shawl. And I need to make a beaded Bracelet for my Grand daughter. Yep, I'm pre surgery and am on the shrink your liver diet. Keeps me from eating all the time. Lol Planning on taking a craft to family's Thanksgiving celebration so I won't try and munch stuff I can't have. Hope it works. Lol
CharmingTortoise 83 Posted February 18, 2013 Hi all, I am just starting the hoop jumping for WLS. Before I started obsessively researching WLS and all the fun stuff that I'm finding wrong along the way I really like crafting. I love my Cricut and making cards and other paper crafting projects. I also like cross stitching when I can find the time.
