Eat That Frog 53 Posted September 29, 2012 I have seen several people mention "slimies." What are they and what causes them? Thanks!
shewolf143 57 Posted September 29, 2012 From what I have read, it is throwing up a mucousy substance & it is from eating too fast or not chewing well.
Fiddleman 4,376 Posted September 29, 2012 Eating too much or too fast causes the slimies. Your throat feels like you are going to throw up. However, instead of food coming up extra thick saliva comes up. I used to get is all the time between month 1 and 2, but not so much as i enter month 3. thesmilos 144 Posted September 29, 2012 Anything too dry like chicken breast and sweets do it to me.
Susie in Lima 320 Posted September 29, 2012 I had it right after surgery. I wasnt eating yet but it was saliva that begins to come up and fill up your mouth. I constantly kept papertowels near me because it just came out of nowhere. It doesnt hurt, it is just gross. I havent had it since the 2nd day in the hospital.
