apinksoprano 0 Posted September 28, 2006 Does anyone know how they find out if you have a hiatal hernia through blood test, xrays etc..... Also how do they fix or remove it? Thanks
Arcael 0 Posted September 28, 2006 My doctor found out I had a Hiatal Hernia by scoping me. The fix the damage and sometimes net the top of your stomach so it can't pouch out. I'm not sure how exactly they would do it with a lap band patient though.

Ariel 1 Posted September 28, 2006 I am having an upper GI series tomorrow morning to test for one. The doctor said if they find one they will just fix it at the same time they are doing the band.
