Teddy bear 42 Posted September 30, 2012 Teddy Bear...Are you allowed to have liquids with your foods? I know all Doctors are different, but mine says no liquids a half hour before or after food. I am asking because I see you put milk in your Cereal. I am not judging at all!! Just asking. I actually didn't think about it... I didn't count that meal as liquid with food... it didn't bother me though, it just made me full faster....and it's bran on skimmed milk, so why not..... klscott74 5 Posted September 30, 2012 Don't worry about what you have done just keep pushing forward. If you dwell on the errors it can hinder the progress. I craved pizza for the longest time and yes I did finally give in and indulge but my sleeve helped keep the amount under control. I do the best that I can with the tools that I have been given but I am human and not always able to say no to my cravings. Best of luck to you. Btw I wondered about the milk also, my dr says none and I have noticed that it doesn't taste right or good for that matter anymore. Have you noticed that? stephers99 3 Posted September 30, 2012 Milk in Cereal is more comparable to Soup or chili than it is to drinking during a meal. If you down the milk left in the bowl after you've eaten all the cereal, then I would call that drinking with a meal, but the small amount of milk in your spoonful of cereal is not. Unless you also consider soup with veggies in it or chili with Beans as also being off limits because it is a combination of liquid with solids. 2 Teddy bear and ProudGrammy reacted to this
