wishfulaimee 16 Posted September 29, 2012 Had a question when were some of you ready to sleep in bed or on side after surgery. I am 4 days post op and really wanting out of the recliner. Need some advice (: Oh also when did you feel you could comfortably ride in a car again or drive?
PiggyPantsPaige 10 Posted September 29, 2012 I drove 3 days out! It took about two weeks before I could sleep on it or get up completely pain free.
jason 12 Posted September 29, 2012 The bed was horrible I used the couch which gave me something to grab ahold of to get up and roll That part always worried me I was scared to get a hernia they say no more than 10 lbs but heck I was way overdoing that trying to sit up. At the hospital I would get into bed when I had to sleep cause I was dressing getting out of it. I just would stand around and walk.

Fiddleman 4,376 Posted September 29, 2012 It took me about 3 weeks before I could sleep on my stomach. Even now I mostly sleep on back or side.
