xavtay2 85 Posted September 29, 2012 I am 18 days out and tonight after a 20 minute walk I went to the refrigerator for a bottle of ice cold Water. I get the bottle put a crystal light and shake it up take a big swallow and all of a sudden I couldn't breathe. Then I could feel the rumbling in my chest and then it starts the vomiting up water... Wow I guess I can't chug water like I use to before surgery!!! This is an awful feeling.. Anybody else experience this?
ShapeShifter 64 Posted September 29, 2012 I think you're supposed to sip for a while. So sorry... that sounds very unpleasant.

iegal 460 Posted September 29, 2012 Good for you going on a long walk! Yes, you still have to sip for quite a while. It will be the new you, stopping every so often to take a sip even if you don't feel thirsty. By the time you feel thirsty you are depleted already. As for the future... I can take big sips now but am still unable to chug an entire bottle. Restriction works...yeah! No regrets, I love my sleeve!
