lasuber 36 Posted September 28, 2012 I was having a stall, which I knew was normal. I figured since my weight wasn't moving I would "cheat" and have a bite of chocolate. I ate two squares of a hershey bar. The next morning, I had dropped 2 lbs. I think my body just needed a little more sugar. Won't make a habit of it by any means, but it did help with my cravings and pushed the stall along! 2 Angelmom and sarahmoni reacted to this
doxieville 799 Posted September 28, 2012 I've been in a stall and for the past two days have been a little more relaxed on my carb intake. Today I was down a pound. No rhyme or reason! For me, I'm happy with my new life and for the potential for whatever i'm going to lose. Stalls are just a part of it.. At least, that's my thinking this week! Next week may be different! :-)
alliecat1095 128 Posted September 28, 2012 I might need to do a little something drastic. I have lost very little in 4wks. PO 9lbs first week and last 3wks 2 lbs. I started at pre-op 229 before surgery 213 and this week 202. I did change the time of day of walking to noon and even added some jogging. So maybe I need to eat a little bite of chocolate or ice cream. IDK I am afraid my stomach will react badly. I can tell you I have gone from a sz 24 to an 18 some 16's.. smb 75 Posted September 28, 2012 I've been in a stall for 3 weeks now, but my clothes are fitting better so I'm trying not to think about it.

Sounds like you already did something drastic! Size 24 to a 16 certainly is drastic. Stay the course your doing great!

takroom 192 Posted September 28, 2012 When I hit a stall, I increase my Protein & work out a little longer or walk a little farther. Don't weigh yourself every day. (scales are EVIL!!! LOL)
Angelmom 30 Posted September 28, 2012 I have been floating within a 2lb range after losing 32lbs these three weeks.....I don't like the "stall," but then again, I did lost 32lbs. I think my body is holding onto the Fluid for pms reasons...that's what it did other times when I was trying to lose weight...for about a week every month, I'd lose nothing....but I'd much rather lose weight every day, like earlier.
