shewolf143 57 Posted September 27, 2012 I also have RA and my Dr told me to stop my injections of Enbrel one week before the surgery & then continue my usual dose after the surgery. kjntwins 59 Posted September 28, 2012 I have RA and have been off my meds since August 1st. I can not start back till 1 month after surgery. SCS 5 Posted October 24, 2012 I have lupus and have been off meds for 6 weeks. Surgery been 2 weeks and gone pretty good.
