jusstice 103 Posted September 27, 2012 I swore I wasn't going to be this way, but I am officially stalking my health insurance company. The first time I called was Tuesday- just looking for confirmation that the papers were in (they were not). After talking with the office coordinator, I said I must wait. Well, two days later there I was on the phone again, just checking. The papers are in and the nice gentleman gave me the claim number and told me what date they had put on for surgery. He said call again on Monday/Tuesday to check because the nurse had not reviewed the fie yet. Oh boy, I know I will be itching to call again Monday. 4 JerseyGirl68, Izuri, @DomLorenVSG and 1 other reacted to this

Thanks. The best think for her to do is to call her insurance every policy is based on what the employers pick .. I have Aetna and I'm doing a supervised diet now but I've seen ppl w the same insurance and didn't have to do it good luck to your friend
jusstice 103 Posted September 28, 2012 I had two options. A six month supervised plan or a 90 day multi disciplinary plan. I did the 90 day one. She should call her insurance because, like PP said, they can spell it out for her. Also, they can tell her whether or not her company chose to cover bariatric surgery. Some companies do not, so even if dvr has Aetna, her level of coverage may be different.
