Mslnzee2010 83 Posted October 1, 2012 Anyone on insulin and on the Protein Shakes has it affected your sugar levels. Do anyone know if its OK to blend up fruit in Protein shakes
crysky 4 Posted October 1, 2012 I'm insulin dependent and I find it to lower my sugar level a bit plus the Protein Shakes keep me full longer compared to a Breakfast sandwich. I'm actually starting to enjoy them for breakfast. I mean I think they all pretty suck in taste but if it helps keep my tummy full then I'm drinking them, lol! I am actually satisfied with the way I feel after the first one I am now chewing a piece of sugar free gum LoL just need to chew. I will make sure to stay in this and not cheat I clearly understand why I have to do it b/c in the end I will be a healthier person for this. What is your date??
