juanita19 36 Posted September 26, 2012 I'm only 3 weeks post and I can't wait to really start a great workout. I want to be healed a good deal because I workout kind of hard. When is a good time to start? I'm anxious!

When is a good time to start? I'm anxious! My surgeon told me to wait 6 weeks, but I cheated and started this week at 4 weeks out. I'm only doing an hour of elliptical and treadmill, no lifting until after my 6 weeks post-op visit.

Getting There 198 Posted September 26, 2012 I'm anxious to start too, but I'm flollowing my surgeon's advice and waiting to do anything more than walking for 6 weeks. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Waiting 2 more weeks won't matter much in the long run. I figure I haven't worked out in several years anyway

Today I felt some discomfort, so I don't want that to keep me from going all in on a workout.
Ready4success 380 Posted September 27, 2012 Did everything go ok? I felt really good during the workout. I was amazed at how much of a difference it makes to not have that extra 30 pounds on my body. Having said that, I had some soreness in my main incision site the day after, so I went back to walking. I'm really looking forward to getting back on that elliptical, though.
