susanfaye 162 Posted September 25, 2012 How many calories are/were you able to consume per day at 7 weeks out?
Slenderella 153 Posted September 25, 2012 I have the same question. I am 8 weeks out and I'm around 500-600 calories per day. My NUT said he didn't want me counting calories, fat or carbs, only Protein and Water. I'm down 37 lbs, and I'm pleased with that, but I still wonder if I should be monitoring anything else. I'm down 43 lbs, but I struggle to even get 500 cals a day. I make sure I get atleast 65g of Protein, but liquids make me so full I can't get a lot of cals and a lot of Fluid lol. 1 kmwheel reacted to this
Chimera 644 Posted September 25, 2012 My NUT has us on 600-800 cals during our losing stage. Carbs as low as you can get them and 80+ g of Protein. They dont seem to focus too much on fat (surgeon has patients do Atkins induction - no liquid diet until clears the day before surgery.) 64+ oz of liquid a day minimum. What your typical daily menu?
Savarra 9 Posted September 26, 2012 Two Premier Protein shakes would give you 60 grams of Protein for 320 calories so it's possible. It's much harder using just food. I haven't figured that out yet and struggle to get more than 30 grams of protein a day without the shakes.

I can't eat more that 1/4-1/2 cup of food at a time. Usually closer to 1/4 cup. I try for cottage cheese and tuna a lot for the protein but can't eat enough to get enough cals. Especially if I'm trying to get enough fluids. Drinking Water makes me very full for a long while. I don't really drink anything else except prottein when I have too because I'm so full from Water.< /p>
 Create an account or sign in to comment You need to be a member in order to leave a comment Create an account Sign up for a new account in our community.
