I use Dymatize ISO 100 in banana and berry (25 g Protein no carbs, no fat, 100 cal). I also use some of the nectar flavors and Nectar unflavored. I get my ISO 100 from Hi Health and order my Nectar at BJSBariatrics.com

My favorite:

Half Pure Protein Frosty chocolate RTD shake

Half Pure Protein or Atkins vanilla RTD shake

1 or 2 tablespoons plain Greek Yogurt (makes it creamy and adds extra protein)

1 tablespoon Banana Cream sugar free pudding

1/4 cup Hood low carb milk

1/4 banana

3 or 4 ice cubes

If I have time I put everything in the freezer for about 1/2 hour or so to get frosty/half frozen because I like it milkshaky...

Sometimes I add a couple spoons of powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury Unflavored Protein powder to boost protein.

This makes a large very filling shake so most of the time I drink half and save the rest for later....

There are so many variations you can do--- with different flavor shakes ( the only ones I can drink are Atkins and Pure Protein)....

and different flavored sugar free puddings. Lots of people here use Da Vinci or Torani sugar free syrups... the variations are endless....

OMG!!! I had the yummiest (if that's even a word) shake for lunch today. So filling and satisfying. I can't wait to have it again tomorrow. I put 6-8 ice cubes in the blender to start then added 1 T PB2, 1 Cup Almond Milk, 1 Scoop of Unjury chocolate Splendor, 1 T of Beach Body Shakeology powder and blended to the most perfect shake no commercial frappee or blended ice drink has anything over this one. Yum! 216 calories, 11 carbs, 30g of protien.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
