Socketpinch 15 Posted September 24, 2012 I'm on the fourth day after surgery and still on Clear Liquids. Having trouble with head hunger. What works for me is the doc said I could have sugar free fudge pops and that helps me head and physical hunger big time. Can't wait until I can eat those mashed bananas! berthaeaster 20 Posted September 24, 2012 Do you regret it ? How's the pain?
Socketpinch 15 Posted September 24, 2012 No pain just sore stomach. I don't regret it because I know that I will be able to eat again. I just have to get through the hump of not eating for about 7 more days.
Hopeful loser 22 Posted September 24, 2012 You'll be fine! Just follow the directions and don't cheat. Congratulations on coming through the surgery! Fight off the head hunger, get through this liquid part and in a couple of weeks you can get on the creamy liquids, so you'll be able to have Soups, cottage cheese, really squished egg salad, refried Beans with melted cheese. sugar free popsicles are tolerated really well, just don't eat too fast, take your time. You go girl!
Nacol 76 Posted September 24, 2012 Looks like we had surgery around the same time. I don't have much of an appetite right now but I'm eating the broth, sf juice, Water n Protein Shakes. My hubby has me on a routine; we walk we eat we rest we suck the tube and repeat. My energy is starting to pick up and I'm feeling better. No regrets! 1 kimmy*custis reacted to this
Socketpinch 15 Posted September 24, 2012 I'm taking a little bit longer to bounce back as I had to stay in hospital for 2 nights. Day of surgery I was fine. Next day vomiting the whole day. Dont know why I was so sick. May have been the anesthesia.

I tell him that since I was not the starter wife (never met her) I will b known as the keeper wife! 1 Nacol reacted to this
