Yogurt and cottage cheese will not pass through security. Protein Bars are good to go. Also, you can pack some Protein Powder in a shaker bottle, and just purchase skim milk at the airport or hotel.

Good Protein bars like Quest are a big go-to for me. I also rely heavily on almonds and beef Jerky. If you are on solid food, I find shakes to be too much of a pain to travel with. It is too easy to get Protein from real food. I traveled around the world while on mushies and lived on eggs, fish, meatballs, braised meat, etc.

If you are ok to be on solids- try making endamame and putting them in ziplock bags.

Don't forget an extra bag for your shells!
