brookeco 37 Posted September 24, 2012 Today is my first day back to work and 1 week post op. the pain the first few days was horrible but I feel a lot better. Just took a little longer to walk to the ferry and take the train and stuff. I have to give myself more time tomorrow. I also weighted myself for the first time and I'm down 15 lbs! 5 Nacol, ME123, xavtay2 and 2 others reacted to this

Izuri 428 Posted September 24, 2012 You are brave going back one week post-op! I was still in a lot of pain and taking naps every day at that point. I'm glad to hear you got there fine =) 2 Rainhaiter and lozzad reacted to this
brookeco 37 Posted September 25, 2012 I broke my ankle really bad had to have a plate and 9 screws put in on 12/24/11 and was out of work for 4 months so I don't have anytime left at work so I went back. It wasn't so bad. I just missing riding my bike to work I hate taking the MTA. I get my staples out tomorrow! My allergies are killing me. My stomach feels like its ripping every time I sneeze. ???? samsmom 54 Posted September 25, 2012 I was in hospital for a week, then home for a week before I went back to work. I have a sedentary desk job where I sit throughout much of the day. But even with my job, I felt that I went back too soon. I was exhausted halfway thru my day. I know everyone is different tho, and im glad you made it thru your day ok. Congrats to us both Have you weighed yourself yet? Do you have muscle Spasms? I have it in my back and arms. I also have Rheumatoid arthritis so maybe it's that. My Immune system is shot after being in the hospital 3 days and lack of food. I dream about bread and butter. The one from outback Specifically ???? 2 more weeks! Plus I almost never rest at home. Always something to do.
