This is weird to as but I'm really interested in the responses... I get surgery October 9th. As you lose weight have you noticed your boobs getting bigger or smaller? Lol :) I'm hoping mine get a little bigger haha

They do get bigger, but that costs extra.

It's definitely a process of deflating - think of a balloon slowly loosing air as your weight gets lower and lower. NOT pretty. Can't wait to finish losing to get a lift and implants. Still a 36 DDD but I have 40 lbs to lose still and once they are lifted they will only be smaller without the extra skin. Graphic description - but the truth!

I am terrified I will have to roll mine up when I am at goal. Haven't thought too much about plastic surgery yet, too many bridges to cross before that.

I just can't imagine that anything would make them bigger if you are losing weight.

I don't see how they would get bigger by losing weight. Mine only got bigger by gaining weight! I'm only almost 3 weeks post op & I can already tell I am smaller in the chest!

I have lost 32 pounds so far and went from a C cup to a B cup. Just invest in some good padded bras. I am looking into getting a boob job as soon as I get down to my desired weight.

They will get smaller, no doubt about it. I've only had a small amount of weight loss and I can tell the difference already.

From watching a close friend and several co-workers that have had WLS, they tend to lose weight from the top down. So far, I am going right along with the program. :)

I lost about 80 lbs a few years ago (prior to sleeve, gained back). The girls became big empty sacs. Not a pretty sight at all. They looked a little better when I gained the weight back, but still not as good as they did before the yo-yoing. Now they have begun the deflation process again. It's a one of the things I'm really really not looking forward to with this process. I hope I will be able to afford, and dare to go through with, a great boob job once I'm finished losing. It's the only hope these girls have for looking half-way decent. Sexy thought, I know!

I was a D before I got really heavy. I'm hoping and praying I can just lose my band inches and not my cup size!

totally draining from the top down- face- chin- neck-shoulders and yes the boobs have greatly diminished. I had hopes for keeping them because it seemed many on here did but, I am not one of them. Going shopping for some good padded bras soon.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
